Need help with connectivity?
To ensure a first-time successful connection, please have your device fully charged and your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions enabled. During the setup, a pop-up window may appear requesting location or nearby device permissions - please select "Allow" to proceed.
If you have any questions during the process, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service.
What should I do if my phone can't find the device's Wi-Fi?
- Make sure the device is powered on. The indicator light should be flashing when the device is on and not connected.
- Check that the Bebird App is updated to the latest version. You can update it via the App Store or through Profile > Settings > Software Update in the App.
- If the indicator light stays solid as soon as you turn it on, the Wi-Fi may have been automatically taken over by another nearby phone or tablet. Simply restart the device and try connecting again.
Why does App still show "Not Connected" even though I've connected to Wi-Fi?
- Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings, find the Bebird network, and select "Forget This Network". Then restart the device and try connecting again.
- If that doesn't help, try using a different phone or tablet (Android or iOS). Download the App and attempt the connection again. Make sure the device is powered on during the process.
How do I manually connect to Bebird Wi-Fi?
- Turn on the device and open the Bebird App.
- Go to your phone's Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Refresh the Wi-Fi list, find the network starting with "Bebird", and tap to connect.
Why is the live image lagging or freezing?
This is usually caused by Wi-Fi interference or a crowded signal environment.
- Try moving to a different location with a cleaner network environment.
- Restart the device and reconnect.
- If the problem persists, try connecting with another phone or tablet (Android or iOS) to rule out device-specific issues.
How do I fix the image if it appears upside down or mirrored on the screen?
- If the image is upside down: Tap on the live screen to bring up the control menu, go to the rotation settings, and adjust the angle until the scoop direction matches the actual physical orientation.
- If the image is mirrored (left-right reversed): Tap the "Switch Left/Right Ear" button on the live screen until the image matches the correct orientation.
